Hi, I’m Yudha Rizqia Grafer, a Backend Developer and aspiring AI Engineer. I’m from Tegal, Central Java, Indonesia, and currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro.
My journey focuses on building robust server-side applications and exploring intelligent systems from designing scalable APIs and databases to working with generative AI and LLM-based solutions. I’m also deeply curious about software architecture, research, and emerging technologies.

Developing intelligent solutions with ML/AI
Designed and deployed a vehicle monitoring system capable of detecting traffic volume and regional license plates. The system employed a server-to-server architecture, integrating multiple FastAPI instances to balance computer vision workloads and ensure scalability. Laravel was utilized as the global backend, providing centralized orchestration, data aggregation, and API services for seamless communication across distributed nodes.
Conducted research under faculty supervision involving data collection, analysis, literature review, and experiment design, while contributing to documentation, reports, and presentations. Developed a FastAPI backend for the Visual Smart Assistant (VSA), enabling facial recognition for name and emotion detection, and an interactive avatar-based chatbot with a RAG system focused on Universitas Dian Nuswantoro. This work strengthened analytical and technical skills and resulted in 4 international conference papers and 1 SINTA-3 journal article (under review).
Assisted instructors in delivering hands-on programming sessions by guiding students through coding exercises, debugging issues, and explaining core programming concepts. Supported the preparation of learning materials, facilitated discussions, and provided feedback on student assignments, strengthening communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills in a collaborative learning environment. Additionally, developed machine learning models for real-time face detection and recognition on edge computing devices.

Aspiring to become a professional Software Engineer, I focus on AI, Machine Learning, and Web Development. My research covers Sentiment Analysis, Cyberbullying Detection, and Multimodal AI, resulting in four international papers and a SINTA-3 journal article (under review).
I have developed projects such as a Visual Smart Assistant with facial recognition and interactive avatars, a CCTV traffic monitoring system using YOLOv8 and OCR, and a cloud-based photo gallery platform integrated with Google Drive API. I also gained experience as a Teaching Assistant and Mentor, guiding peers in programming, data science, and computer vision.
My work has been recognized through achievements such as 3rd place in Web Development at Dinusfest, 2nd place at Dinacom International, and Best UI/UX Design at PROXO CORIS 2025. These awards reflect technical expertise, creativity, and the ability to design impactful, user-centered solutions.
